I never thought I’d get a matching tattoo. Much less one with a guy’s name on it. Or that I would do that and he would do the same with my name.

When I first got my pet, it didn’t take long to find out he was my twin flame, although I had never even heard that term before and neither had he.

He stood and stayed right next to me as I awakened to the metaphysical world and started exploring cosmology with me.

We agreed it was evident that we were meant to be together and we were ecstatic about it.

But what goes up must come down and we sure came down hard.

We screamed a few NEVERs and some FUCK YOU FOREVERs, though I know we both privately clung to some hope.

I was in denial for a bit but knew I was dying. It was my turn to come crawling back this time.

Frustrated and struggling just as before, insecurities still raged.

I decided to “sign off by skin” as a sign of my commitment and we found a random local tattoo parlour.

While we waited he decided he would do the same himself (another shocking confirmation that he is my mirror).

We went home that night with “[TWIN’s NAME HERE] or Die” across anchors on our solar plexus. 

Suddenly arguments seemed silly cos “HA! They ain’t going nowhere…” and smug grins quickly became part of our daily faces.

These things have worked wonders.
